Mr. KIRPAL SINGH SHARMA is the founder and director of Island Law Practice LLC. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1986 with Bachelor of Arts Degree and spent the first 6 years of his career managing several businesses.
During this period, he honed his excellent negotiation skills before deciding to read law at the University of Manchester. Sharma graduated in 1995 with a rare First Class Honours Degree in law. He was called to the Singapore Bar in 1999.
Sharma’s practice encompasses a broad spectrum of criminal, commercial and civil litigation ranging from negligence and contractual claims, landlord and tenant disputes, workmen’s compensation, motor insurance claims, serious personal injury claims to family related matters and debt recovery. In the area of insurance law, he has assisted many leading insurance companies in reducing their exposure as well as pursuing recovery (subrogation) action on their behalf.
